Xiaomi started 2019 on a good note. The company first announced to separate Redmi and Mi as independent brands in China, and then under the Redmi sub-brand, the company launched the Redmi Note 7. Last week Xiaomi India confirmed to bring the Redmi Note 7 in the country on Feb 28. The Chinese smartphone maker is now all set to launch the Mi 9 in China on Feb 20. Looks like the company has more plans for Feb.
As the company previously revealed that Redmi Note 7 Pro will launch in February. Looks like the company is living up to its words. Redmi sub-brand President Lu Weibing has now hinted that Redmi Note 7 Pro will launch soon after Xiaomi Mi 9 goes official on February 20. This mostly suggests that the Redmi Note 7 Pro could launch in the last week of February. The company is yet to reveal the launch date of the Note 7 Pro.
Ahead of the launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro has been certified by 3C authority in China. The listing revealed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with model number M1901F7BE. It further reveals that the smartphone will be bundled with 18W fast charging support. The company has previously revealed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will support faster charging support when compared to Redmi Note 7.
Almost all the key specs of the Redmi Note 7 Pro have been revealed by rumours and leaks previously. Compared to the Redmi Note 7 the Pro version is expected to be an improved version. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor unlike the Redmi Note 7 that comes with a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor. The Note 7 Pro will pack a dual camera system on the rear panel while on the front there will be a single sensor.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro will be an improved version of the Redmi Note 7 even on the hardware front. The Pro version is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display. The smartphone will include a 13-megapixel selfie shooter on the front and backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The pricing details of the Redmi Note 7 is yet to be revealed but it will be slightly expensive than the Redmi Note 7 which sells in China for starting price of 999.
